I’ve been a huge fan of Netflix Originals for a long time. They somehow have an amazing ability to produce fantastic shows worthy of a good old binge watch.
A show which I am eagerly waiting to be released is…
‘Everything Sucks’
The synopsis goes something like this…
“A coming-of-age story, set in the 1990s, that revolves around the A/V and drama clubs at an Oregon high school; the two crews of outsiders join forces to make a movie and endure the purgatory that is high school.”
If that doesn’t get you excited then here’s the trailer…
I pretty much grew up in the 90s and as you may know I am a huge fan of nostalgia so I have high hopes for this. I am anticipating that it will be on a par with a UK show called ‘My Mad Fat Diary‘ because I LOVED that.
The show is due for release on 16th February so don’t forget to get this added to your Netflix list!
The song used in the trailer and which could be the theme song for ‘Everything Sucks’ is a song called ‘Everything To Everyone‘ by Everclear.
Of course I will be binge watching and then I’ll be binge listening to this amazing soundtrack that I have put together to go with the show. It will be made up of songs featured in and inspired by ‘Everything Sucks’.

I’ll certainly be taking a look. I’ve just finished watching Godless. The two leads are actually British, which when you see the content you might find odd. But, it was excellent.
