What is Flickr?

Other than sharing my photos here on my blog I wanted some sort of outlet just for all my photos.

I don’t think I could cope with running another blog so that wasn’t an option.

So, the best option I decided was Flickr.

I’ve used Flickr on and off for years and most of my personal photos are stored there privately so that I have an online backup.

However, I thought it was about time that Steve McSteveface was on Flickr so now it is – click the image below to go to my Flickr.Flickr

  1. I have been a member of Flickr for many years, since my Yahoo 365 days and I stayed when the Yahoo blogging platform closed. I have used a few photo places, but Flickr seems to be the best of a bad bunch. It has its problems and I have often complained about them on their forum. Eventually they solve them, but often at a snail place. I found it is good when you can do a little html and play with their links, otherwise your have the name Flickr spashed all over your uploaded photos. Their Photo working programme Aviary is rubbish, does not work most of the time, and I prefer Ribbit which also has a connection to Flickr. All in all a good programme, one of the better programmes, but not perfect. I an use it very well on WordPress. All my photos come from Flickr. I have over 16,000 photos in flickr. Will add you as a folloower 🙂
