Netflix Jukebox: American Horror Story…

I’ve been aware of American Horror Story for a while now so I was glad that this one popped up for me to watch when I was getting something for this post – and well, I didn’t just watch one episode because I spent pretty much the whole day watching more…

The show is currently up to season 4 and I’ve only just discovered that each season has its own plot-line with the first one being titled – “Murder House”. I love horror movies so I was instantly hooked. Think of the film Amityville Horror and this is pretty much a mini-series version of it.

The plot starts with a family buying a house which has had a very scary past and things keep coming back to haunt the new owners.

I love the fact that there are so many interwoven stories but at the same time it’s not at all confusing. These days I get far too easily distracted when watching TV and often can’t follow complicated storylines so this was great for me.

Yes, it’s a bit gory in parts, definitely not for the faint-hearted and possibly don’t watch it if you are home alone – otherwise I strongly recommend it and I am looking forward to another binge session of it.

  1. OK, kidlet discovered this last week. Said it was “OK” and we watched a few episodes together. I go to bed for the night, wake up the next morning and he has stayed up all night to watch all of the first two seasons. So, I guess it was more than “OK”, though I wish he had waited for me to watch too! 😀
